I really loved reading this book with my grandsons. They made me read it 3 times in a row and now take it around everywhere with them. It is an interesting story and manages to weave a message that all ages will appreciate. This book boasts a range of prose (story), poetry and. even song. And a game that we can take away and play in future! Set in the Caribbean Islands of Trinidad & Tobago, the attitudes, teachings and family interactions in this great read, accurately, with joy and colour, reflect the culture and realistic scenarios often experienced there...All this centred around the most. favoured fruit...the mango. Highly recommend!
